"Josh Murray, as Macbeth, shows no restraint for the folly and guilt that consumes Macbeth's mind and he performs without boundaries or inhibitions. One particularly mind-bending scene is the dinner post Duncan's murder, where Macbeth hallucinates and, frankly, freaks out his polite guests. Murray easily fascinates, horrifies, and sparks laughter for Macbeth's confused and inappropriate behavior, all at once. He points and yells at people that aren't there, a funny scenario at first glance, but then seeing the terror in his eyes makes the audience think twice about the action. This is the true talent of this fabulous and intense actor." -Maryland Theatre Guide

"As cursed Thane Macbeth, Josh Murray delivers an assured, emotionally raw performance. Sporting an ornate leather jacket and serrated sword, Murray exhibits both magnetism and menace. He manages spells of authoritative swagger and gyres of wailing madness with a consistent level of energy and focus." -DC Theatre Scene

"I had the opportunity to work with Josh on a short film for a web series titled Genre Wars. Josh is the utmost professional on the set, bringing his best, taking direction, attention to detail of the scene being shot.

Above just giving his best performance for the camera he helped the other actors be better. He understood the mood, tone and emotional moment of the scene being shot and delivered.

I would definitely consider Josh for any projects I work on."

"What makes Josh stand out is that, not only is [his] performance pitch perfect in regards to the content of the scene and its delivery, it's that he's able to (seemingly instinctively) do each take with the same physical and emotional focus.  For the editor this translates as having more usable options for coverage.  For the actor it means the performance stays intact.

He's a prepared actor, one who understands the material he's working with and what needs to be done physically and emotionally to make the scene work.  That, in my opinion, is the source of his focus and why he comes "camera-ready."  As a director, cinematographer and editor, I find that he's represent the caliber of performance that I'm thrilled to work with and that an audience would be equally thrilled to watch."

"Josh Murray was an important part of what we were trying to achieve in Blood Rock.  He brought passion, talent, and dedication to the set. His high personal standard was contagious among the cast and crew.  I am sure he will bring these traits to all of his endeavors, whether film or stage.  Our work together was truly gratifying."

"Josh is the actor we all hope for.  His performance was laser-honed and superb. He's fearless; never afraid to try something different.  He took direction better than anyone we've worked with and made intelligent suggestions that bolstered his role.  Most importantly, he was fun to work with.  Hire him.  He'll bring skill, panache and gloss to any project."

"Josh Murray is very professional and a guy you can count on that will not only give you his all, but will also go the extra mile to ensure a pristine performance is delivered. Josh has a range and depth that few actors can undertake and has the ability to carry a strong lead role to a comedic support role. Not only have I worked with him in the past, but definitely look forward to working with him in the future. Josh is going to give you all he has - leaving it out there at the end of the day, through his sweat and tears - whatever it takes. He does not hold back."
